Staying healthy is important. In order to carry out all our everyday activities and chores, we need to remain fit.
When we fall sick, even if it is just for a day, we are swamped with pile of work the following day! Here are few
tips which can help you maintain a healthy environment and can keep bacteria at bay:
1. Wash your hands
Wash the germs away. Washing hands is one of the most important things you can do to stay germ free. Using soap or hand wash is one of the most effective ways to kill germs.
2. Stay sanitized
Using hand sanitizers can help you ward off germs. At the same time, please keep in mind that you should clean your devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, laptop etc often.
3. Take plenty of rest!
If you don’t feel too well, take a day or two off and get some rest. If you wear yourself out, your immune system grows even weaker, making you prone to diseases. Proper rest is essential for a healthy body.
4. Always carry tissue papers
It is common courtesy to cover your mouth while sneezing or coughing. However, this is not enough; we should sneeze on a tissue paper and properly dispose it to limit the chances of bacteria spreading from it.
5. Protect your immunity system
Eat green! Having the right proportion of everything in your meal is very important to develop a healthy immune system. Make sure you are having a balanced meal. If you get sick too often, consult a doctor or nutritionist for advice.
6. Avoid infested areas
Public toilets are used by a large number of people and these toilets are unhygienic since it’s not cleaned as frequently. It is recommended to avoid public or hospital toilets.
7. Keep your house clean
Use disinfectants to clean floors and kitchen tables. Always clean up after preparing meals. Clean your garbage regularly so that your house doesn’t become a breeding ground for germs.
8. Hands off!
Yes, you read that right. Keep your hands off your face! Don’t scratch too much and refrain from picking your nose or teeth in public places. If you feel ill, stay in; don’t get too close to others.
